Here is the finished Karoo Vintage MAL (pattern by Jen Tyler)! I have woven in all the ends, chucked it in my washer/dryer and can now take a deep breath and focus on the pattern I am currently writing.
I have been dealing with a little bit of a medical question mark the last few weeks so this has been a happy diversion for me. Tomorrow is the day I should get the verdict so I will be plunging ahead-just no sure which road I'm taking this plunge on! haha! If all goes well though, I should be able to focus on my pattern writing again. I don't do well with uncertainty so this is why this particular project was good for me, I could focus only on these stitches, counting these flowers, and loving these colors. Good news or bad at least it will be news and that stupid question mark can turn into an exclamation point! :) I've often mentioned that crochet is my stress relief. It is more than that. Sometimes, that yarn is my lifeline to sanity. It is my smile in the dark, my laughter in the tears and my guide through the wilderness of life. These past few weeks it has been all of that and I'm so happy that I can turn inner turmoils and demons into something pretty and useful! :)
