4/5 🖤 You know, this writing every morning from 7(ish) to 9am, Monday to Friday, has been the only habit I’ve kept up consistently, without too much, or really any effort. I’ve tried to implement a number of lifestyle habits lately, and some of them, it’s like a RELIEF if I can find an excuse to not follow through with them *cough* running *cough, cough* — but last week when my morning was interrupted and I couldn’t write, it was like a major bummer. I look forward to it. And yeah, maybe at the beginning of anything new, you might experience some resistance, but after a while, you should sort of be looking forward to doing that thing. I get asked all the time, how do I make myself write. I don’t. I just want to write.
