A Prayer for Hope:
When we're strong enough, we'd gain the courage to hope that we'd get through anything, that we'd be able to survive, that we'd eventually get what's best according to His plan.
Hope is what keeps us believing, moving, and struggling. Hope grows from the strength within, but hope itself also helps us grow stronger each day. Hope doesn't necessarily mean that we should take everything, including the bad things that happened to us, positively. Hope means acknowledging that shit sometimes happen, that even the most trusted friends can turn out to be assholes, that this world is basically made of the good and the bad, and that we can't always avoid the bad things and get only the good ones. Hope means accepting ourselves for what we are--the good and the bad inside us, accepting others; hope means forgiving ourselves so that we can forgive others. When we're done with that, hope will in turn fill us with positive vibes, helping us rise and stand tall, keeping us alive--physically and spiritually.
You've given me hope, and with this hope, I'm forgiving myself, I'm forgiving others, and I'm focusing on the positivity of my life. And I hope to look at you in the eyes and tell you that you've been a prominent source of hope for me.
