Here are some major injuries and their impact on fantasy owners. Week One was full of surprises and more, but it's not over yet!
David Johnson suffered a wrist injury against the Lions. The MRI came back negative for anything too serious, but DJ could still miss up to 6 or 7 games. But there are also counter reports saying he may not miss time at all. If you have David Johnson, I would target Kerwyn Williams. He will fill DJ's role for the time being. Also, if you have DJ, keep him on your bench. Don't trade him for low price or drop him. He will be worth stashing for when you need him most.
Allen Robinson tore his ACL in a win against Houston after only 1 Catch for 17 Yards. Robinson was in a contract year, bug now will be out for the entire 2017 Season. Marquise Lee and Allen Hurns seems to be the next guys up. But even so, Fournette and Ivory rushed a combined 35 Times. While Bortles only completed 11/21 Passes. I wouldn't reach for either Jaguars WR, and I would focus your waiver picks elsewhere.
Kevin White is feared to have suffered a broken collarbone and will likely miss the entire 2017 Season due to surgery. If anyone snagged Kendall Wright when I told you too, it might pay off. The Bears receivers now include Kendall Wright, Markus Wheaton, Deonte Thompson, and Josh Bellamy. Something that is note worthy is that Glennon did throw the ball 40 Times, While Howard and Cohen combined only had 18 Rushes. Cohen was the main recipient of those passes, but Kendall Wright lead all WR. Zach Miller had 4 Catches for 39 Yards and Shaheen didn't get a single look. Going forward, Wright may be a good stash as he develops chemistry with Glennon, as well as Zach Miller. But Tarik Cohen, even as a backup, can still play a role as a receiver on this team. If anyone I would target Cohen on the waiver wire.
