Happy Sunday instafam fat slayers.... So today on my way back to base I sat close to a guy and all he had to say about women is that they get fat once they are married and even the ones that ain't married go to the gym to look for husbands... Jeez... Did I faint or did I faint? Ha! Me, I don't usually get involved in gist that I wasn't invited into but this time I had to speak up. I cleared the man and all he did till the end of the explanation was nod his head. As for me, whether he agrees or not I don't care. That's his belief but I just don't sit back and listen to people who speak out of ignorance especially when it has to do with my place of happiness (The gym)... I'm already thinking of which exercises to do when I hit the gym.... Kai, this thing is addictive but I like this type of addiction mbok... 😂😂

‼️Don’t know what to eat if have to workout.. 💡Pre workout meal 🆘 Recipe : ✅Oats ✅crunchy peanut butter ✅honey ✅forest fruits 1portion I add 60g of oats with 2-300mls of water , added in microwave for 2minutes on med heat , take it out and stir , back to microwave for 1-2minutes . Take it out , add 20g of crunchy peanut butter , 10g of honey , stir , add bit of water if needed as don’t want it to thick and here you are.. Leave it 5-10minutes to cool down a bit .. Will give you energy for few hours especially if you are trainning in next 2hours .. Rice salad meal prep, perfect lunch for this kind of weather! I made up some spicy rice similar to the other day - using paprika, cumin, garlic and onion. Then once that was cooked I added peas, sweet corn, uncooked peppers for crunch and some sardines.

Happy Sunday everyone!!! For those that have been following me for awhile now known that Sunday’s are my designated GYST (get your shit together) day. The one day a week I set aside to smash all my chores, my meal prep, and finish anything I have been putting off during the week. Today I spent the morning cleaning and my afternoon organising my food, fitting my macros, smashing a quick Coles shop and cooking up a storm. Regrann from @mealpreprecipes - Sheet Pan Chicken Fajita😍🙌 . Ingredients: 1.5 lbs Chicken Breasts boneless, skinless olive oil 1 tbsp taco seasoning 3 ea bell peppers sliced 1 each onion sliced thinly fresh limes . Preheat oven to 400ºF and grease large rimmed baking sheet Slice chicken into strips and season to coat with Taco Seasoning. Lightly drizzle seasoned chicken with olive oil Chop all veggies into strips. Drizzle with olive oil and more Taco Seasoning if desired. Place chicken and veggies on sheet pan and bake at 400ºF until chicken strips are cooked through and veggies are tender, about 20-25 minutes Remove from oven and squeeze fresh lime over. Serve as desired in tortillas or over cauliflower rice. Optional: Serve with *gluten-free tortillas* or cauliflower rice, pico, guacamole . 📽 @mealpreponfleek - #regrann

This program has literally put me back on track towards my health journey. I feel stronger, happier, and at peace that I am Capable of reaching my goals. I used to scroll through and look at fitness pages and get upset bc I had let myself go. I had stopped doing the things that made me happy. I had just 'turned off' myself and let all the energy vampires around me take over. When I signed up I started with a basic 25 minute program (bc I knew that I could make the time for 25 minutes)I woke up at 5am and made it work and then went to my full time demanding job. When I started my 80 day program I felt excited and ready to face the challenges that would come with it. I took the pressure of being perfect off and just focused on doing the best I could. This shift in mindset has led to consistency and a new found determination to change my life. Are you tired of scrolling through wishing for something more? I can tell you right now that what you need to change is already inside you and that you just have to be kind to yourself and unlock it. It is possible and you are worth it, bc we all are worth loving ourselves and changing the course of our lives if we are currently unhappy. Stop wishing and start doing, we can support eachother. So here we are! ⠀⠀ 🌪 Meal plans, like any strategy for reaching your fitness goals, are not one-size-fits-all. This means that meal plans don’t work equally well for one person as they do for another. ⠀⠀ ✅ Meal plans have pros. ⠀⠀ 🛑 And meal plans have cons. ⠀⠀ 🤔 And it’s important to understand these pros and cons before you decide if following a meal plan makes sense for you! ⠀⠀ ✏️ As you can see, both the pros and cons of meal plans are listed above. But I will go just a bit deeper here in the caption for you… ⠀⠀ 💃🏻 Meal plans are amazing because they take care of the basic stuff that you will no longer need to think about, like what and how much to eat, and when. Sticky Chinese BBQ Chicken Servings: 4-6 INGREDIENTS 3 chicken breasts Salt, to season Pepper, to season Egg wash (2 egg yolks and milk) 100 grams cornflour 1.5 litres oil, for frying 1 onion 2 bell peppers 2 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar 2 tablespoons tomato paste 2 tablespoons sugar 100 milliliters chicken stock 50 milliliters cornflour paste 200 grams pineapple PREPARATION Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Cut into bite-size chunks. Dunk each chicken piece in the egg yolk, followed by the cornflour. Set aside. Heat the oil in a deep saucepan until it reaches 190°C (375°F). Carefully fry the chicken pieces for around 5-6 minutes, until crispy, slightly golden in colour and cooked throughout. Drain onto a plate covered in kitchen roll. In a large saucepan over a medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil and fry the onions and peppers for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the soy sauce, red wine vinegar, tomato paste, and sugar, and cook for a further 2 minutes. Pour in the chicken stock and cornflour paste. Mix until the sauce has thickened. Stir in the pineapple and chicken until evenly coated with the sauce. Serve with rice. Enjoy!

If you are a fan of sweet and savory (like me) then you will love this Oven Roasted Duck recipe😍The honey makes for the most amazing crispy skin combined with  seasonings and fresh rosemary for the ultimate flavor combo. Plus, this duck carcass made into a bone broth is one of the most tasty broths you will ever have! Not to mention incredibly gelatinous which is extra nourishing for the gut💛 I love making things like this for meal prep because not only do you get this delicious meat for the week ahead but you also get a super tasty bone broth you can sip on as is or use in various soups throughout the week. To make, first preheat oven to 350*F. To make the sauce, combine honey and @brothmasters bone broth in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. When honey begins to melt, add rosemary, @redmondrealsalt sea salt and seasoning and combine well. After sauce begins to boil, reduce to simmer and add coconut aminos. Simmer on low for about 2-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, pat the @uswellnessmeats duck dry with a paper towel. Coat the bottom of a roasting pan with @fatworks duck fat (or any choice of fat like @kerrygoldusa grass-fed butter or @omgheebutter). Place duck in dish and lightly coat with a tablespoon of duck fat. Pour glaze over duck, evenly coating the entire bird. Place in oven and roast for about an hour. 🍱🍱🍱LUNCH🍱🍱🍱 **************************** . This was my lunch today people, as from the picture this morning you could not quite see it as clear, (the joys of taking a picture at midnight with no natural light in the house) 🙈😂 . I had the @musclefooduk Chicken fajitas one pan (one serving pack) with sweet potato rice, spinach, 1/2 avocado, and asparagus ❤️ . I am at the minute seeing some fantastic differences in my body, but as mentioned I’ve an operation coming up in a weeks time, (my 5th operation after my Nephrectomy) that’s going to put me out of action for at least 2 weeks but I still have my legs thankfully, I’ll be getting my steps in and of course I’ll be eating as healthy as ever 😎 . Remember people my page is all about my journey as well. I’m not here to try and tell you what to eat, how to train, or tell you what right or wrong. I’m here to give you quick ideas and help you with the stuff I eat and the principles I follow. I hope your enjoying my food diary and get loads of motivation from my journey.
