“Walking your talk” is the hardest part of having a business based on yourself. I remember when I was a personal chef (I was still drinking and having TONS of health problems)😣 . My Acupuncturist, looked straight at me and asked me, “Carla, when are you going to cook for yourself like you do for your clients.” Wow. I was stumped🤔 . When I was pregnant with my son Massimo, I became Nutritious Life Certified with Keri @thenutritiouslifestudio One of the lessons I learned was to “Treat every meal as a Monday”. Anyone that has dieted knows — it all starts on Monday! Monday is the day to reset💥 . The “Monday philosophy” can be applied to life in general. We have to chance to reset at any moment. That could be: eating healthier, meal prepping, getting more sleep, exercising, drinking more water, being kinder to people, and or putting down the phone and being present instead💆🏻‍♀️ . While meat and chicken is what the majority know are protein sources here are some other options that I also like… 80% of my diet is plant based and the 20% consists of whatever I feel like eating… So, if I feel like I haven’t had enough protein during the day I will have a protein shake with almond milk. What are some of your favourite sources?? 1. Salmon - 23g 2. Eggs - 6g per Egg 3. Quinoa - 8g per cup cooked 4. Tofu - 8g 5. Edamane Beans - 11g 6. Greek Yogurt - 10g 7. Tuna - 23g 8. Lentils - 18g per cup cooked 9.
