I absolutely love power bowls. They are super simple and easy to make and you can use anything!!!! 🙌🏽 On the base I have used a brown and red rice! Then I add some roasted Veges. I’m loving pumpkin with cinnamon, smoked paprika and S+P then I’ve also got capcicum and sweet potato which has smoked paprika, Italian herbs and S+P. I like doing a fresh salad on the side so your getting a mixture of raw and cooked Veges. 😍 I used coS lettuce, cabbage and carrot and dressed with with lemon, extra virgin olive oil and S+P super fresh and such a good side salad to anything! Then add your avocado which I’ve added pistachio dukkah in top! Yum!!!!! ❤️Since I’ve cut out meat I’ve definitely relied on eating and bulking up my food with lots of Veges!!! I do eat a lot of carbs too. Brown rice, or whole meal bread or wraps. July 2018 - January 2019 Another little reminder of what a ‘normal’ body doesn’t look like! Neither of these bodies are better than the other, they just reflect two completely different points in my life. On the left I’m in the middle of prep for bodybuilding shows so had an incredibly restrictive diet and trained everyday. On the right I’m not dieting or tracking calories and I’m working to overcome some injuries as well as regain strength and flexibility that was lost during contest prep. I feel like I’ve finally got my training mojo back after losing it post shows when training felt like a chore for the first time and I was just going through the motions. I’m currently only training with weights three times a week but have added in some running and yoga as well as covering at least three miles a day with the dog, (also I’m a full time PT so I’m very active)! There are 17lbs between these pictures, (and 23lbs gained in total since I was on stage in September), and should probably point out that I’m posed in the first picture but not in the second 👙 #glutenfree #coeliac #personaltrainer #selflove #bodypositive #bodybuilder
