***JASON - UPDATE - USMC BOOTCAMP ***
'Goodbyes' are never easy... What do you say to that man, your son, who is ready and willing to sacrifice, to become a Marine?
What do you say to that same man who has spent over a year losing 90 pounds, training his mind and body into a healthy and motivated, unstoppable individual?
How do you fit everything you're feeling into those 3 minutes left @ MEPS, before he walks through those doors and it closes it?
Please protect our boy.
He loves you and believes in you.
As his Mama, I pray that you help him to believe in himself as well.
When he is tired, I ask that you give his exhaustion to me, take my energy to fill him up.
When he is in pain, let me willingly take it and allow him to dig deep and find what he needs to push forward.
When he is certain that he can't take another step... whisper into his ear, "YES YOU CAN!" Please, lift him up and shine Your glorious light and incredible power into his mind, muscles, and heart.
Let all that happens, be a path to bring him closer to You.
Let him speak words of how powerful Your forgiveness is to others who need it and let Your love be so evident in everything he does.
Let him continue his education into his own betterment of health and allow his body and your love to become armor to protect him.
Let him continue his unbendable loyalty and view of righteousness for Americans and our Freedom.
Fill him with peace and help him remember the end goal and how only .3% of incredible people in this world become United States Marines.
With that, I say, thank you Lord. We did our best to raise him in Your Word and Your Glory, as we do with his brothers. Guide, guard and take care of him for us, just as you always have.
WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU, JASON! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
