A charcoal of my wife @pmphotomke .
I’m not super happy with it but it’s definitely got a likeness. ANYWAYSSS, This whole experience of doing 100 heads in paint, charcoal, and graphite has been a long one. It’s been tough and very rewarding. It’s been a learning experience, growing experience, failing experience, and I’ve made good good friends out of it, who all went through it with me. At this point I’m very happy to be done and FINALLY able to free myself from heads for heads-sake. Now back to some real real work with content, narrative, multiple elements, and deeper meaning. Thank you @404taken @denisdalesio @michaeljamesmonaghan @butterhi @seppedemeyere @milohartnoll @alba.miocev @carolinejiart for always sticking near me when I can be overly honest, a kook, a lover, and like each of us, at times, a failure. You’ve all made me a better artist (despite the nasty look of some of these portraits! Ha!) and human being. We have many roads to travel together, gang, can’t wait to climb the next hill and battle our next project. 🗡 🖌
