My weight loss journey
It wasn’t easy.. at first. Because I didn’t know where to start, yes I knew I needed to exercise and eat healthy. But how..? It’s more than that. How do you stay motivated, how do you know what foods to eat, how do you stop cravings, how can I gain muscle, how can I lose fat without obsessing that every calorie I eat is going to mess up my progress, HOW do I get to MY goal?! These were the constant questions I asked myself, not knowing where to even start. The biggest question I had was “how can I KEEP the weight off while still feeling confident.” I wanted to learn how to do this. Over the years of losing weight, then gaining it back over and over again, I want to keep it off. So I found ways I failed and was determined to find ways to succeed around that last failure, because I wanted to reach those goals and answer those questions for myself. .
The picture on the left, I had started a new health and fitness journey after trying things out on my own, and plateaued with my weight for a month. So I switched it up a bit. .
Also, me on the left, I was just gaining my confidence back, I was down 14 pounds and feeling great, feeling confident in my body once again. Both pictures, I am confident, not only with my body, but with my accomplishments and that I haven’t given up. If you think I didn’t fail or struggle one time during my journey, you’re wrong. I just got up after I fell, focusing on my goals. You’re wrong if you think I still don’t struggle, I still have goals I am reaching for. You have to remember, it’s not going to happen over night. 💪🏼
