I have to tell you a SECRET...last night I CHEATED, bad! No, not on my husband...on myself!!! I ate a concha with milk, (that's a pastry for you non-hispanics, lol,) pretzels, chips, and half a chocolate granola bar!
My old self would be disappointed, and say, no worries, I will just start being good next month, this month is shot anyway.
My new stronger-willed, nutrition filled self felt a difference right away. My stomach was like, WTF did you just do?!?! That feels like $h!t!! You better get back on track!!! This morning I MADE myself wake up at 4:30am and go run for 30 minutes, as punishment. That is how I make myself more conscious of those bad decisions.
Although I wish I hadn't made that choice last night, I accept responsibility for my choice. I know that I can get right back on track my next meal. Today is a new day; I don't have to wait until next month! We have goals!
