🐀yet another reason why I was close to totally giving up on my garden and chickens in the last few weeks and just going back to lawn. 😡😭 Instead of netting the whole tree I bagged the fruit, because I heard this works well ... apparently not!
I’ve lost untold amounts of tomatoes, apples, all of my nectarines, peaches, apricots and eggplants. The hubby broke off my only spaghetti squash while mowing: grounds for divorce! Between the death of my flock, the weather, fried plants, the possums, rats & birds, a broken fridge, shoulder surgery, then a broken toe I’m thinking “I AM DONE HERE .” But when we went to the supermarket yesterday, I took note of all the things I didn’t need to buy and it felt bloody amazing 🙌 I have my own onions, garlic, loads of veggies, eggs, apples, jams, pickles, herbs & spices. I need to get over this mountain ⛰ & I needed to get this off my chest.
