Let me just drop this here and keep writing until sleep comes. .
DO NOT tie yourself worth to your ability or inability to be slimmer before Christmas.
See I get it, you want to look good before Christmas, but wait who says looking good is tied to your weight. .
A great body is not something you get with a fry pan/flash method.
You work on it daily, consistently
The truth is if you are overweight and its hurting you or hurting your health, get the weight off the healthy way
Whats the point of losing 4 pounds before Christmas only to gain 8 pounds more?
And then when you come back in the new year, you join the band wagon of lose the Christmas weight. Ha!!!! Does that make any sense? If only we knew how damaging all that lose-weight-gain-weight cycle was tormenting our psyche, self esteem and overall health.
Worse still, you end up feeling like a failure. .
Yes o, pepper dem gang and all will give you a temporal ‘high’ but after all the celebration and a few rounds of ‘bountiful’/mindless eating, you are back to square one but most importantly, if you don’t work on your sense of self, a drop in dress size or two won’t (WILL NEVER) bestow that on you.
and giving words to the your feelings that needed expression.
