EAST COAST'S MOST POWERFUL 2018... If pain is weakness leaving the body, then I'm about to be a lot less weak... Because everything fucking HURTS!!! Weighed in at 293.5, 10lbs lighter than weigh-in for USS Nationals 2 weeks ago, and 20lbs lighter than February of this year. Highlights were personal bests on: Hummer Tire Deadlift @ 630lbs. Keg load for height @ 350lbs to 62". Yoke @ 800lbs for an stumblin' & bumblin' 25 ft. Lowlights were only managing about 25 ft on farmers walk @ 325lbs each hand, which is usually one of my better events. And bombing the press medley, since I'm doomed to be turrrible at overhead... Not sure about final placing (I'm sure its ugly) but overall it was one of the all-time best experiences of my strength-sport endeavors... Stacked classes of competitors, awesome venue, top-notch equipment, hard working judges, spotters, loaders, and a big event atmosphere. Also saw a fair share of nasty injuries, and hoping everyone has a speedy recovery.
Thanks Colosseum Strongman & Co for putting together one for the ages. Definitely the hardest show I've ever done... I felt my soul leave my body on several occasions 💀
