3 glute exercises for building big glutes 🍑🔥🔥🔥 ——————————————————————- Keep in mind these exercises come in after our heavy squats, deadlifts and hip thrusts and don’t make up your full workout. ————————————————————— Exercise 1. The staggered mini bar hip press. We hit 12 reps on each leg and then 12 more with both feet flat to the floor. The staggered foot position puts 70% tension on the the glute with the flat foot and 30% on the foot with the elevated toe. Exercise 2. Banded goblet squat. Driving the knees out hard and keeping tension on the band while squatting as low as possible. I like to raise the heels for this exercise, it prevents us from leaning forward and our back muscles getting tight because of it. Exercise 3. The banded dumbbell RDL (my favourite of the three). Adding the band to the movements gives us more glute activation at the top of the rep. This comes from the band pulling the hips back while you’re pushing through to get a squeeze. 👌👌👌 #kickstartfitness #personaltraining

Good morning insta. So workouts and food? It's a good idea to look at food as fuel. Without fuel your car will not run and that's the same for your body. You cannot do a good workout without food in your body. The right food will give you energy and this will maximise your workouts. Proteins, Fats and Carbs are all essential for fueling your body and also building fat. Especially if you are weight training. However even cardio requires fuel. These foods are all high in protein, fat and carbs. I would recommend eating about an hour before workouts. If you do consume carbs then things like sweet potato, brown rice are the best. These are complex carbs and release energy slowly they also feed muscles for growth. Eggs are high in proteins as is chicken breast which has between 20-24g of protein. It is also essential to refeed after a work out and you should eat within 2 hours of working out.
