Naps are life 😴 My favourite “lifestyle advice” I like to give people is to replace your afternoon pick-me-up with a nap. So in the afternoon when you’re losing focus, getting tired and stressing out...instead of grabbing the candy bar, the double espresso or the energy drink in an attempt to jack up your already overworked sympathetic system...just lay down in a quiet space for 10 minutes. Even if you don’t fall asleep, just being impulse free for 10 minutes allows your parasympathetic to activate, your brain chaos to wind down and your whole system to reboot and be ready to kick ass for the rest of the afternoon. This picture shows my optimal napping setup. I lay on a basic acupressure mat with my bare skin to relax my muscles and stimulate the nerves in my back so my mind stops racing. I lay under the @ full stack to load my system full of ATP and get the blood flow to my tissues. It might seem weird to lay on a bed of nails and under a light canon to calm down but for me it works like at charm and completely resets my system in just 10 minutes.
