I will be SO GLAD 😏 when school is back in session & routine returns for my 👬. Bed🕰 have been all over the place & even when I set a time, their 🛏 seem to remain empty until they’re ready to occupy them.
Which is generally long after I am ready for them to occupy them! 🤦🏼♀️😴 But it’s still summer time ☀️ and preparing for earlier bedtimes, wake up calls 📞 & a whole day in the classroom takes a lot of patience .... and deep breaths. 🧘🏼♀️ Very deep breaths. 🤪🧘🏼♀️ I’d like to say that I have gotten a bit more used to “less sleep than I’d like” 🤤 this summer but ... I really think it’s more about consistency 🤨 than acclimating to an amended sleep pattern. 🙄😬 Continuing to get out there in the hot🔥, the humid💦, the hot & humid, the cooler with hills🏔, the humid with hills, and even after the sun’s 🌤 come up a few times has helped me to feel stronger 💪🏻. I now worry 😐 less about what’s on my run plan 📝 day to day and more about making sure I stay healthy enough to get out there on the days I should. 😷🤐🤗 Being a #dreamchaser aimed at becoming a #goalcatcher takes hard work day in and day out. Lifting weights 🏋️♀️ , doing extra endurance work ... that all helps but sticking to the schedule of time on my feet 👣 and working hard despite obstacles 🚧 is what will make those goals a reality when the time ⏱arrives.
So keep working.
Never give up on those goals. #neverever
As long as you can HONESTLY say to yourself that you are and/or have put in the work necessary to achieve your goals then you’ll get there. #truth💣
