Adding this one along with what I wrote about her. She sold, but still, she deserves to be "heard" "A Woman's Search for Balance"
No fancy prose this time, real talk.
I love us. Women. Our struggles, our power, our grace, our flaws. We are a tribe and still, on this very day in 2018, we are still not allowed to own property (some places), we still are paid less (some places), we still have no voice (some places), we take to the streets and demand change (some places). Aurelia is every woman. She receives 2 celtic symbols in her open palms, (because I am of Irish descent), the Triquetra (which for me is the trinity of mind/body/spirit), and the Triskele (the trinity of maiden/mother/crone). From cradle to grave we struggle to understand and reconcile those forces, don't we? Roots. The earth. The relentless pull of the earth beneath us for she is very nature herself and we dare not ever forget that. From us comes life itself in a never-ending circle. Yet the sky, oh that beautiful full-of-possibility sky above us, where anything is possible and dreams and magic are alive. Red for passion. The sun for the promise of one more day to try to get it right. (We won't. Not yet, but .....) We are Grace. We are Power. We are One.
