Post 1/3: While listen to Dave Ramsey’s podcast at my 3rd seasonal/side job (gotta stay motivated!) he started talking about his top few goals tips for the new year. His tip was to figure out your exact goals, not a general “I want to lose weight” but “I want to lose 20 pounds in 3 months” type goal. Write them down. Studies shows you are more likely to reach your goals if you write them down and remind yourself of them (and your WHYs!) often.
I’m not going to go through all of them, but I am going to talk about the 1 of the 3 that hit me the hardest today. ******************
Career & financial goals💵💰👩🏼⚕️🤰🏼🤱🏼We have been budgeting and sinking funs-it-up for the last 12 months. We’ve done well, but we’ve one last pesky credit card left and our new van payment. Bj does well at his job, working 40+ hours a week and taking call. I love working part time for WIC as their breastfeeding counselor and thankfully, that job can be done mainly at home. So, it’s up to me to pick up a few side hustles 😉 to get this stuff paid off 👌🏼 The money is out there for takin’, I’ve just gotta go get it 🙌🏼 I’m working on a part time job that’s local and very worth my while, so fingers crossed that works out! With this, we will be debt free (besides the house) in 12 months and we’ll on our way to RV livin, farm land buyin and barn house buildin’ before we know it! 👨🏻🌾👩🏼🌾🥾🐶🐱🦆🐄🐐🐖🐓🌳🌻
So yeah, News resolutions and goals have been established, written down (here 😝) and started!
