WHY YOU DON’T NEED CARDIO
Dropping some truth bombs today☄️💥💥☄️Alot of people(women mostly) don’t know this but you don’t NEED to do ANY cardio to lose weight. The easiest way to lose weight is to lift HEAVY weights and cut calories! SIMPLE!
Will you lose weight from cardio? Yup. But it could be water, fat or even muscle. If you LOVE cardio, stick to High Intensity Intervals like Orange Theory, as it’s been PROVEN to maximize fat loss. But if you HATE cardio and feel like you’re dying on a treadmill, STOP!!! Multiple studies have shown that weight loss from cardio is only temporary-so when you stop, you gain it all back. Cardio also does nothing for body composition. Weightlifting may not change your weight at all but will change the shape of your body! Don’t believe me? Look at some of my transformations where I’m the SAME WEIGHT!
The biggest mistake I see women make when trying to lose weight is 1. Only doing cardio and not lifting weights 2. Doing high rep/low weight isolation movements. .
For BEST results that will lose FAT, stick to COMPOUND movements and 4-6 reps! Lifting heavy does NOT make you bulky, what makes you “bulky” is eating in a surplus(which I have been doing)
Also, high reps do not equal “toned” muscles. “Toned” isn’t even a thing. When women say toned, they mean, they want muscles and their body fat % low enough to see them. What does that mean? LIFTING HEAVY AND BEING IN A CALORIE DEFICIT 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
