Friday Night Story Time!
So I got my camera back from Nikon today, literally 30 minutes before a #ULA rocket launch. So instinctively I grabbed by gear, and sprinted towards the nearest and clearest view. (Haha, I said “clear”). I arrived at the #courtneycampbellcauseway with 90 seconds til launch, and found myself sprinting up the overpass, trying to insert memory cards, batteries, tripod mounts, check long exposure settings, adjust ISO, all before this rocket blasts off. (They don’t wait, as I have found). And 3-2-1, blast off!
This is what I got.
Apparently when sending your camera in, they not only clean it to factory specs, they upgrade the software and, as I have found, reset it to factory settings!
Note to self- next time you send your camera in for service, allow for at least an hour or two to bring it back to custom specs before trying to catch a rocket launch.
