For the past 13 weeks (I know odd number but that's due to figuring out issues with my blood sugar) I've been working with an online trainer to get over my workout plateau. I regularly work out and thought I knew what i was doing in the gym but my body just wasn't progressing like I thought it should. In steps @.
He gave me a strict meal plan and workout to follow and I couldn't be happier with the results. And I'll freely admit, there were those occasions were I did cheat on the meal plan but never on the workouts. Food is a weakness for me and in some cases I have zero will power to say no. Which is awful for a diabetic but I'm working on that. So this plan was work. Add the fact I that hate cooking, but I knew my trainer was leading me in the right direction.
I gave my trainer 10 goals I wanted to accomplish and in 12 weeks I accomplished 7.5 of those. Two of those goals are far reaching and they take time longer than allotted and I knew that going in. The other half has all to do with self image.
Being an online trainer, he wasn't there in person pushing me to eat better or workout harder. He gave me the instructions and it was up to me to get the job done. Amazing feeling of accomplishment. But I couldn't have done it without his help. And that's why I signed up for more training with him. Let's continue the .
You can see from the pictures the changes in my body, but let me tell you some highlights: i lost 10 pounds ( with weight loss not being the goal). I now tighten my belt two notches tighter. My a1c dropped from 7.6 to 6.9. As a type 1 diabetic this is huge!!!!! I gained massive strength in all areas of lifting, (which was the main goal). And I feel so much more confidant in myself. A struggle I've dealt with my whole life.
Every day is work. Every workout is hard. fitting all the meals in in a day seems impossible at times, but there is no denying the results. THANK YOU JOEY!!! and THANK YOU @ for all the love and support.
