8 Healthy Habits That Will Change You in 2019!
Effective, achievable and available to everyone
⠀1. Drink several cups of pure water after awakening and before breakfast (0,5 to 1l). Do not calculate this water intake as your daily water consumption as it is meant to assist the body in completing the night time detoxification processes
⠀2. Chew the food properly. The golden rule states “drink the solid food and eat the fluid”. Poorly digested food causes numerous digestive illnesses, weight changes and other pathological states
⠀3. Maintain the alkaline to acidic food balance with 80/20 ratio. This means eat more live fresh foods like vegetables, fruits and greens and drink clean water
⠀4. Substitute cows milk and it’s byproducts with home-made nut milks and cheeses. You will feel great, the swelling will decrease, the inflammation will reduce, the gut function will improve. Read more in the previous posts
⠀5. Attempt to eat one type of food per meal. Different food items need different degrees of stomach juices and enzymes, which when combined zero each other’s effects leaving the food poorly digested causing fermentation, gases, bloating and indigestion
⠀6. Drink enough pure water per day. Calculate your level with this formula: 30ml of water per 1kg of weight. Note that if you drink coffee, alcohol and soft drinks you will need to make up for it with more water (and nutrients)
⠀7. Attempt to pause food consumption for one or more days. If this is too extreme for you then start with intermittent fasting, which can be done from the moment of early dinner until late lunch the next day. This is an effective method of improving energy levels, improving sleep, maintaining weight and assisting digestive function
⠀8. Finally, address your additions. I believe that will power is a muscle that can be trained. Train it to let go of those habits that no longer serve you and substitute them with healthy activities.
