As trainers, when we have a first consultation with a lady, “toned” is the magic word. “I want to be toned, but I don’t want to lift heavy weights because I don’t want to look bulky”🤷🏻♀️🤦🏽♀️ .
For that reason, I would like to clarify some facts:.
. ✨ Toned means that you can see the separation of the muscle, in other words, toned CAN’T exist without muscles.
. ✨For a female, building big muscles NATURALLY, isn’t easy, no matter how heavy you lift. If you are a woman, you will ALWAYS look like a woman. If you see a woman who has muscles like a man, most of the time it’s because they are helping with male hormones.
. ✨Being skinny has nothing to do with being toned. Many skinny women can have a high percentage of body fat, caused by the lack of muscle 🙃.
. ✨ONLY cardio will NEVER make you look toned. Especially if it’s high intense, extremely long cardio, which I call “the muscle destroyed workout” or “the skinny fat maker”.
In conclusion my beautiful ladies, please stop worrying about the number on the scale and start increasing the weight of your dumbbells😘
