On this day in 1933, White Sands National Monument was founded. This tiny corner of southwest New Mexico is the world's largest gypsum dune field. Even in summer, you won't burn your toes running through this basin. My toes, however, were quite frosty, because I had to traipse as bare footed as possible. And, as for Edie, she just wanted to run like her name is The Wind. Am I the only child of he 80's who can credit Spacecamp, the movie, with first introducing White Sands to my awareness? ๐Ÿค—

A question I get asked pretty often is โ€œhow are you able to travel so much?!โ€. Iโ€™m writing a blog post about all the ways we travel for (almost) free, but Iโ€™d love to hear your thoughts! What are your main concerns or hang ups about traveling? Why do you think you canโ€™t travel as much as someone else? Leave your comment below or DM me and Iโ€™ll do my best to answer it in the post!
