The Taipei Performings Arts Centrer (TPAC), is nearing completion. The project consists of three large theatres plugged into a central cubic volume. Two of these can be combined to form a 100-metre long stage required for large-scale theatre performances. TPAC was designed by Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) and engineered by ARUP, and will also include public amenities, such as a rooftop viewing terrace and a publicly accessible route through the building that will offer views of the backstage areas.
