The younger vampire waited for Liam's next words patiently, watching the elder males puzzled face change every so often.
“Since I bonded you, we'll eventually have to make offspring, and I need to know if that'll be okay in the future.” Niall nods softly, wearing a confused frown on his face as Liam seemed to grow a bit flustered, wondering what got him so worked up.
“I-It's totally fine, Liam, but why are you so concerned? You're a thrall after all, and being a parent is mandatory isn't it?” Liam nods gently, standing up to look Niall in the eyes properly.
“Yes, I have to be a parent, and that's what I'm scared of. I've been taking care of myself for most of my life, but another, small vampire seems like a lot more work…” Niall smiles a little, placing a hand on Liam's forearm delicately.
“Don't worry about a single thing, Liam. I'll be doing most of the parenting in the beginning while you go and work for the council, right? I'll be fine on my own, but we don't have to worry about having a baby for a long while, so calm down, please.” The thrall laughs softly, letting out a shaky breath afterward as Niall began to rub his forearm in gentle rhythmic patterns.
“I-I'll try, it's just… I have a few friends who are already parents, so it has me extremely on edge and worried to death.” Niall smiles at him sympathetically, kissing the right side of his temple sweetly.
“Don’t sweat. We're bonded, we have each other and when we're ready, an offspring will be on the way and the both of us will already be prepared.” Liam nods, feeling calmer than moments ago, falling into Niall's arms as he then suddenly falls asleep.
The Irishman frowns, checking his pulse to let it go away, dragging him to the bedroom when finding the correct door.
He lied Liam down on the bed before sitting down on the other side of it, feeling the bite on his neck after taking off most of his clothes.
Niall finds himself smiling as he touches it, feeling different, mature in some way after taking blood from the different thralls that came into view.
Liam seemed different and that's what Niall needed, he just didn't realize it until feeling the thrall's teeth sink into him.
