Sometimes I get asked what my editing process looks like or what inspires me... ————————————————————————
On the "Technical" side:
I typically only shoot with Prime Lenes (the 35mm 1.4 Sigma Art) is my favorite. SOLID GOLD!!!!
I edit my photos in Lightroom and only drag them into Photoshop for drastic measures but I usually see no need to do so.
My Artistic side:
I like to keep my photos true to life, meaning I don't add overlays or crazy backgrounds.
I don't over edit skin, body type or make my subjects look like porcelain dolls...(Sure if you have a Uuuge Zit I'll zap it out for ya...but scars and life lines tell your story). My hope is that others (through viewing your photos) will actually get a sense of what it felt like to be present in that moment.
I'm Inspired by:
Love, pain, sunsets, music, laughter, rain, nature, trees, family, colors, sounds, people, sadness, beauty, God, faith, the mundane, the extraordinary, passion, sexuality, confidence, light, darkness, joy and everything in between.
I want my photos to make you feel & connect.
I want them to make you grin, gasp, tear up, laugh out load or simply stop scrolling.
Ultimately I just want to share the beauty of life and joy in all its forms.
