It had been pouring for days. My clothes were soaked, the heater wasn’t running properly. The carpet was wet, Sitka was soaked in wet mud, water was pooling in the door wells, the windows were dripping with condensation. I couldn’t remember what dry boots or a dry wetsuit felt like.
But, like everything, the weather passed and was replaced by warm sun and a breeze that quickly dried everything out.
Winters can be tough in a van, I’m learning not to create more suffering in my own life than necessary, to fully embrace the suck- to learn what it has to teach me and to find peace in knowing that the sun will come out again and moments like this will arise once again.
Thanks @ for snapping this pic of Sitka and I!! Edited by 🙋🏻♂️
