My Nonno turned 🎉 97 years old 🎉 a couple of weeks ago and I think that's freakin AWESOME, don't you?! He's still active, drives, and goes to church most everyday!
It strikes me that if I live to be his age or older (and that's the plan!) then I have 52 years left to LIVE!! If that thought alone isn't MOTIVATION to live a healthier lifestyle TODAY and tomorrow and the day after that, then I don't know what is?!! 😊 ➡️ The younger, unhealthier me took too much for granted! I am as guilty as anyone of thinking that I could eat and drink whatever I wanted, that exercise was for those crazy gym rats, and that I'd be just fine.
Hmmm, is that why I was tired all the time, overweight and uncomfortable, and diagnosed as pre-diabetic??? My poor lifestyle decisions were catching up and it was up to me to change it!
I am grateful everyday for "waking up" and making my health a priority! I am grateful to have found at-home workouts that I love and fit my schedule. I'm grateful for everything that I've learned about the importance of real nutrition and how it impacts us inside and out! And MOST OF ALL, I'm grateful for all of you who have joined my team as coaches, challengers, supporters, and friends! 😘😘
After all, it's OUR time and we are in this together!
