A few people over the last month asked me why I changed the symbol of my Overgirl suit. So here we go:
1 - in Brazil u can't wear nazi symbol or anything similar in events.
2 - to wear a nazi symbol in public is a fellony. U can get arrested
3 - I loved the suit, its colors but was feeling a bit disgusted by the symbol (I am chill with anything, but this is too much) so I decided to do as evil Supergirl in comics and wear the same symbol in different colors. I am not comfortable wearing the evil supergirl suit so I made my Overgil not a nazi, just evil.
I am usually really perfeccionist. I made the fabric to look exactly like hers because I didn't want to use just any fabric. I wanted the same with those tiny details. The pants on its back, around the butt has a detail almost impossible to see but I didn't rest until I got it right. Except for the symbol, my cosplay is 100% accurate. (I do that with all my cosplays: same details, design, fabric. I don't like grabbing any piece of cloth and calling it cosplay, I respect who does it but for me it doesn't work.) But even for perfeccionism, some things has its limits.
So yep, my Overgirl is just evil. She is NOT a nazi.
Thank u 😉
