After having a conversation with @aditi.balan_official about bio pads for about ten mins yesterday, I did a lot of research about them post that. I also realised the kind of toxins we've been enduring in the name of sanitary napkins, that we buy from our retail stores. Its pretty shocking that none of us gave a damn about it all these years (which includes me). While I'm looking at donating pads to these little kids from andhra through @voiceoutperiod, I realised today that I CANNOT give them a stay free or whisper. I'm only going to harm them by doing so. We as a team have already started looking for people who manufacture safe cloth pads so that we can give these little girls a kit that'll last for about 2 years.
I urge you all to kindly educate yourself, your sisters, mothers and friends to STOP using the kind of pads we've been using.
So I've bought this kit to gift my sister who lives in the US, to make her menstrual heath better. Passing it on through my father who is leaving to meet her tmrw. This is the best gift u can ever give someone.
From what I heard through people who are already using it, it just takes a little effort from u to get used to these cloth pads and they last upto 75 washes. You just got to be extra careful to wash them really well. This kit u see here is from @ecofemme and I want every single girl reading this post to switch over to cloth pads and re post this.
In some way or the other u were the starting to this @aditi.balan_official , love you for it buddy 🙏 #switchtoclothpads #menstraulhygiene #staystrong #bleedproud #ecofemme #girlpower #padman #padwoman
