HAPPY SATURDAY FROM MY PALE SELF 😂😭🤷🏼♀️ If you have no idea where to start when making a lifestyle change I have a tip with where you can get started:
CUT OUT THE DAMN JUICES, TEAS, ENERGY DRINKS, SODAS, “INFUSED” WATERS, or DRINKING GATORADE JUST BECAUSE. These drinks are packed with hidden empty calories, are loaded with added sugars which turn into visceral fat (belly fat), high fructose corn syrup, added dyes, etc etc etc. When we are drinking it’s less likely we realize how many calories we are actually consuming due to chewing resistance. When we add new foods into our diet our brain tends to subconsciously compensate and eat less of other foods. Unfortunately with liquids it does not have the same effect causing calorie surplus which = weight gain.
We all know by now that manufacturers aren’t exactly honest about what they put into their products. It’s TOO COMMON the long process of sitting before selling strips the juice of its natural state from the whole fruit then after X amount (usually significant) of storage time they add processed sugars back into the drinks before selling for taste. It’s just another way for them to make money while keeping us fat, sick, feeling like sh*t, and saturating our third eye 🤷🏼♀️👁 We ironically get hydrated through the foods we eat. Especially if your micronutrient game is strong these sources are packed with water content 💦 🍎🍇🍓🍅🥑🥦
If you’re consecutively walking into a convenient store and grabbing some kind of juice or soft drink as your main thirst quencher I highly suggest inching towards making it a goal to slowly transition into water, infused water with a real lemon or lime, sparkling seltzer, homemade real fruit smoothies and juices. .
Do yourself a favor and save the calories for a donut 🍩🤷🏼♀️😏
