This was the owner's grocery haul from last night. A few things to point out: 1. Not all of this is Autoimmune Protocol. Who can spot what the owner has added in since starting AIP? 2. The burlap sacks turned into grocery bags. Trying to be a little more sustainable every month. 3. This is a week's worth of food for multiple people. The salmon and turkey meat are not the only meats eaten. The owner gets >90% of his meat from local farms.

Been trying more Raw Foods lately - Interestingly it’s way more gentle on the tummy! I’m trying to help these producers better address their customers concerns when it comes to the nutritional, environmental and ethical issues surrounding meat. The basic facts are red meat is an important, nutrient dense food for humans, and when raised well and managed right, can help sequester carbon and can cause “less harm” than a plant only food system.

HAPPY SATURDAY FROM MY PALE SELF 😂😭🤷🏼‍♀️ If you have no idea where to start when making a lifestyle change I have a tip with where you can get started: CUT OUT THE DAMN JUICES, TEAS, ENERGY DRINKS, SODAS, “INFUSED” WATERS, or DRINKING GATORADE JUST BECAUSE. These drinks are packed with hidden empty calories, are loaded with added sugars which turn into visceral fat (belly fat), high fructose corn syrup, added dyes, etc etc etc. When we are drinking it’s less likely we realize how many calories we are actually consuming due to chewing resistance. When we add new foods into our diet our brain tends to subconsciously compensate and eat less of other foods. Unfortunately with liquids it does not have the same effect causing calorie surplus which = weight gain. We all know by now that manufacturers aren’t exactly honest about what they put into their products. It’s TOO COMMON the long process of sitting before selling strips the juice of its natural state from the whole fruit then after X amount (usually significant) of storage time they add processed sugars back into the drinks before selling for taste. It’s just another way for them to make money while keeping us fat, sick, feeling like sh*t, and saturating our third eye 🤷🏼‍♀️👁 We ironically get hydrated through the foods we eat. Especially if your micronutrient game is strong these sources are packed with water content 💦 🍎🍇🍓🍅🥑🥦 If you’re consecutively walking into a convenient store and grabbing some kind of juice or soft drink as your main thirst quencher I highly suggest inching towards making it a goal to slowly transition into water, infused water with a real lemon or lime, sparkling seltzer, homemade real fruit smoothies and juices. . . . Do yourself a favor and save the calories for a donut 🍩🤷🏼‍♀️😏

Bem, a agricultura surgiu entre 10 a 15 mil anos e isto corresponde a menos de 0,5% do período de evolução. Portanto nosso organismo não está adaptado a digestão de grãos, e quando eles são “melhorados geneticamente” e refinados aí a coisa piora muito. . Durante toda a nossa História como Seres Humanos os alimentos disponíveis eram plantas e animais e dependendo da região do planeta raizes, castanhas e frutas. . Ou seja, é isto que a ESPÉCIE HUMANA ESTÁ EVOLUTIVAMENTE PREPARADA PARA CONSUMIR. Simples assim!!! . Bolo de Coco fit Receita 3 ovos 3 cls de sopa de açúcar demerara 3 cls de sopa de óleo de coco 3 cls se sopa de coco ralado 1 xícara de leite de coco 1 xícara de farinha de arroz Meia xícara de amido de milho (Maizena 😁) 1 cl de sopa de fermento em pó No liquidificador deixe de fora as farinhas e fermento, bata os demais por uns 3 minutos, depois acrescente as farinhas bata mais uns dois minutos e por último o fermento. Forno pré aquecido a 180 graus por 35 minutos ou até ponto de colocar a faca e não grudar. A cobertura é só 1 xícara de leite de coco ou leite normal com maizena e 1 cl de sopa de açúcar demerara em fogo baixo até engrossar. É permitido beber ÁGUA, CAFÉ e CHÁ sem adoçante. 2️⃣Método eat-stop-eat ou jejum de 24h: Você pode fazer até TRÊS vezes por semana. Basta jantar hoje e não comer mais nada até o jantar de amanhã. Você pode também começar a partir do café da manhã ou almoço. 3️⃣Método 5: 2 Do O método da dieta 5:2 permite que você coma normalmente 5 dias da semana, enquanto restringe o consumo de calorias para 500-600 durante os outros dois dias. As mulheres não devem passar de 500 calorias e os homens 600. É um método que NÃO uso, pois não sou a favor de contagem de calorias, mas também é um dos protocolos. ➡Gosto muito de praticar 24h semanais e por mais 2 dias manter 16x8! MOUSSE DE CHOCOLATE ・・・ INGREDIENTES 3 ovos 3 caixinhas de creme leite de coco (ou outro de sua preferência, o da @isolabiobr tem consistência do de leite de vaca) 2 barras de chocolate 70% cacau ou 200g (uso a barra da lindt ou gotas da callebaut) Cacau a gosto (1 a 2cs) Xylitol ou outro adoçante a gosto (1 a 3cs... vai depender de quem irá consumir, se quer mais docinho tipo açúcar ou se gosta amarguinho nem precisa colocar) . MODO DE PREPARO Derreter o chocolate em banho maria junto com o cacau e o xylitol. Deixar esfriar. Bater a gema sem pele (tipo gemada) e as claras em neve, separadas. Quando o chocolate estiver morno, colocar as gemas e misturar bem. Depois, coloque o creme leite e, por último, as claras em neve (misturar delicadamente) . . Happy weekend! Mine is going to be spent working, but a good breakfast is imperative. I went for a non-traditional, veg-packed bfast: + bed of organic arugula, + sautéed: red onion, garlic, kale. Threw in some leftover roasted bell pepper and Brussels sprouts; also added steamed black lentils (YES to super-easy meal prep for these flexible and hearty additions!).
