Eating healthy isn’t about restricting what you eat, it’s about finding alternatives! .
I was talking with one of my new 1:1 girls the other day, and we got chatting about how she was feeling frustrated because the way that she’s been trying to eat healthy, she couldn’t enjoy the foods that she loved anymore. .
This conversation made me realize that the stigma that eating healthy has to be boring and miserable is still very prevalent. .
But, lucky for you...gone are the days of white rice, broccoli, and plain chicken breast! 😖 .
Now we walk through grocery stores with protein cookies, low cal ice cream, and heck you can even make yourself healthy french fries!! 😍 .
It’s not about restricting yourself from everything that you once enjoyed to be healthy, it’s about finding healthy alternatives. .
The alternative fills that void, but without potential to mess with your healthy lifestyle! .
My favorite example? HEALTHY FRENCH FRIES!! .
These babies are a staple in my kitchen!
Potatoes are recognized across the board as a healthy source of carbohydrates! .
So what if instead of eating a boring & plain baked potato. You slice those babies into little fries, throw on some salt, pepper, and other assorted spices, pop them in the oven, and now you have 100% guilt free French fries!! .
Sound better? I thought so! .
