Special request from my kiddo: Paleo Pizza! Our favorite crust recipe is definetly from Juli Bauer’s Paleo Cookbook. I usually try to add a bunch of toppings and extra protein, but tonight it’s just uncured @applegate salami, @applegate cheese, @muirglen (no added sugar) roasted garlic sauce and some sliced black olives. Thin Mint Protein Balls?! Yes please! 🙋‍♂️ If you’re a sucker for sweets around the holidays, this is a fantastic way to satisfy cravings! These little puppies are packed with protein and healthy fats without all the refined sugar you’d normally find in a typical holiday snack. They help you feel full and satisfied without the guilt and subsequent carb-crash. I love these balls in my mouth, and I know you will too 😜 - - - Follow this super simple recipe: 1. Pour 1/2 Cup Cashew Butter into a mixing bowl. 2. Add 1/3 Cup Nut Flour Blend (could also use almond flour, flax meal, etc.) 3. Add 1/3 Cup Chocolate Plant-Based Protein Powder (I’m a big fan of @drinkorgain) 4. Add 1.5 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder 5. Add 1/4 tsp. + a drop or two Pure Peppermint Extract 6. Mix all ingredients together with hand-mixer until doughy texture is achieved. (If it’s too dry, add a little more cashew butter or oil from the jar. If it’s too wet/sticky then add small portions of any of your dry ingredients) 7. Roll into balls about 1” in diameter. 8. Pour about a quarter cup of the Nut Flour and 1-2 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder onto a plate. Mix together. 9. Roll balls through the mixture until coated. 10. Place onto parchment 📜 paper or in Tupperware and into the freezer for at least 1-hour. Boom 💥 You’re ready to sink your teeth 🦷 into these chocolatey balls!

🍕 Almost 5 Ingredient Pizza Spaghetti Pie by @paleomg is a family favorite at my house. It is in our regular rotation and often the leftovers are kidnapped by my children and taken to school for lunch. We make it with sweet Italian chicken sausage but you can add anything! WHOLE ANIMAL CONSUMPTION STORY...What do you serve a friend when they come for lunch? Probably your answer wouldn’t include heart and tongue! Yesterday, my dear friend Laura came over to hang out and when it was time for lunch we started rummaging around the fridge and I realized I still hadn’t touched the heart and tongue I had saved from Monday’s harvest of our last pig of the season. Laura said she was up for trying it but by her upturned nose I wasn’t very hopeful she’d like it! I got to work-slicing the meat into small chunks, slicing onions, and roasted garlic. I added fresh thyme and parsley, salt and pepper, paprika and a bit of cayenne, finishing it off with a drizzle of olive oil. Then I baked it for about 30 minutes. When it came out of the oven I dug right in and Laura took a few bites, and then went back and filled her plate and went BACK for seconds! Would you believe me if I told you all these things were previously frozen?! Well believe it! If you’re ballin’ on a budget 🤑 then this meal-prep is for you! It’s important to get wild-caught salmon (look for MSC Certified, or certified Alaskan), but fresh is always more expensive than frozen, so head to the freezer to save a few bucks. Same goes for organic fruits and veggies. Frozen varieties are usually cheaper AND studies show they can offer just as much nutrient density as the fresh stuff (sometimes more) since they’re picked and flash-frozen right at peak ripeness 👌 I talk all the time about buying fresh, local, minimally packaged and/or processed, BUT I totally understand that sometimes it’s just hard, costlier, more time-consuming, etc. Still, finances and busy-ness shouldn’t stop you from nutritious food! Putting this whole meal together (there was enough for two! ✌️) cost under $15, and took less than 15-minutes to prepare. Boom 💥 - - - 🔸Pan-seared mesquite salmon 🔸Steamed broccoli 🥦 🔸Cauliflower rice, bell peppers and onions sautéed in butter, garlic, salt 🧂 and onion powder. Now that’s a delicious 😋 tip! #danesdailytip

I usually don't like salad, but this one is pretty good! . The chicken has oregano, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, cayenne, turmeric and some salt. Add as much of each spice as you'd like, you want to make about 1- 1 1/2 tbsp of spice mix. I just cooked mine in the fry pan with a bit of coconut oil. . For the dressing, I added 2 tbsp of sunflower oil (you can use olive oil but I didn't feel like it), 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp honey. Don't dump all of the dressing on at once because it might be too much for your salad. Add it a tbsp at a time just so that you don't over dress it and have a soggy salad. . I used some cos and iceberg lettuce as the base of the salad because I personally love iceberg, but you can use and leaves/lettuce as your base. Then I added some diced tomato and cucumber& avocado. Mixed it all around with the dressing, put it into the serving bowl and added the chicken, and sprinkled on some goji berried and sunflower seeds. Grilled Veggie Salad Platter with Lime Sauce. Ingredients: 4 medium zucchini 1 medium yellow squash 1 red bell pepper 1 yellow bell pepper 1 red onion, thinly sliced 1 lb. asparagus, ends trimmed Extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling For the Sauce: 1/4 cup Paleo mayonnaise Juice of 1 lime 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 tsp cumin Salt & pepper, to taste Instructions: 1. Slice the zucchini and squash in half lengthwise & then into 1/2-inch thick slices. In a medium bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients for the sauce. Season to taste with salt & pepper. Set aside. 2. Preheat the grill to low heat. Lightly drizzle the vegetables with olive oil and toss to coat. Working in batches, place the vegetables onto the grill in a single layer. What happens when you mix Brussels Sprouts with honey, oil, vinegar and bacon? 🤔 A whole lotta yum!!! 😋 - - - 1. Spray @eatcleaner fruit and veggie wash on Brussels, let sit for two minutes, then rinse with water. 2. Chop Brussels into halves and toss into baking dish. 3. Pour olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the sprouts and then drizzle honey. Incorporate it all together. 4. Place dish in the oven at 400° for 30 minutes. 5. Place bacon in frying pan and cook on medium heat. When it begins to crinkle, flip over. For another 1-2 minutes. 6. Remove bacon from heat, place onto a plate, and chop into fine pieces. 7. When timer goes off, remove sprouts from oven, and stir up the mixture while adding the bacon bits. 8. Place back into oven, and continue cooking another 15-20 minutes until sprouts reach your preferred level of doneness. 9. Enjoy! 10. Don’t get mad at me when your kids, husband, or pregnant 🤰 wife ask you to make this every night 😜

GF vegan AND paleo Cinnamon Christmas cookie brownies 🎄✨ I love love love chocolate and it’s so fitting around this time of year so I made these yummy brownies cookies. Yes, they are brownies in the shape of cookies haha and here’s the recipe: Ingredients: 1 cup of Pamela’s All Purpose Gluten Free Flour, 1/3 cup of Cacao Powder, 1/3 cup of Coconut Sugar, 1/4 cup of Oat Milk, 1/4 cup of Coconut Oil, Pinch of Cinnamon, Dash of Date Syrup (Or Maple Syrup), 2 tbs. of Baking Powder, Pinch of Salt. Instructions: Preheat Oven to 350 F. Combine all ingredients (but the date syrup.) Form mixture into squares OR circles. Add a dash of date syrup to top each to top. Bake for 10 -15 minutes. Hi there!! Gorgeous people!!! . . Tonight, I made a dish from one of my favorite restaurants here in Austin...The Shady Grove, located in South Austin. Great people,great food!! My favorite , queso and tortilla crusted catfish🤤, but its not paleo. so, I made a paleo version😃. I made a paleo tempura batter, added smoked paprika,chili powder,chipotle spice and sea salt. For the tortillas, i broke up some Siete Families chips in the nacho flavor. I use tilapia, but any light flaky fish would work. Dip the fish in the batter, then the chips and fry in extra light olive oil. The queso, is Siete Families queso, just heat and pour over the fish🤤. Sooooo good!! And a simple salad or veggie to serve on the side!! Now!! Guláš z losa (či jiného masa) Jelikož mám momentálně mrazák narvaný jelením a losím masem vařím z něj úplně všechno. Tenhle guláš se obzvlášť povedl. Vařila jsem ho v pomalém hrnci asi 6 hodin. Na panvy jsem si osmažila na drobno nakrajenou cibulku (cca 3 ks) až byla cibulka pěkně osmahlá přemístila jsem ji do pomalého hrnce. Smažím cibulku na lžíci sádla a lžíci oleje. Přidala na kostky nakrajene maso, lžíci protlaku, zasypala hojně lahůdkovou paprikou (normální, či gulášová stačí), trochu mletého chilli, osolila, opepřila, dala trochu kmínu, špetku majoranky, nastrouhaný jeden stroužek česneku a pro vyraznější chuť bezlepkovy hovězí bujón. Zalila vodou lehce nad maso a zapla pomalý hrnec na nevyšší výkon. Po šesti hodinách jsem přidala druhou špetku majoranky, ještě jeden stroužek česneku a dochutila solí a pepřem. Kdo má rád pálivější dávám pár kapek chilli omáčky. REASON NUMBER 4 Your skin NEEDS them! Winter is so hard on our skin and most moisturizes and face washes not only strip our skin of their natural oils, they’re filled with harmful chemicals that are then absorbed into our bloodstream, causing even more issues. Use a little bit of jojoba or almond oil with a few drops of frankincense, lemon, and/or lavender and you’ll be SO glad you did.

Had an awesome lunch 🥙 last week with a good friend over at @seabirdskitchen in Costa Mesa. Got some #inspo for my clean-eating #gains💪.
