Althabasca falls was really picturesque but there were so many people squeezing in the viewpoints. I prefered this personal spot tho, away from the sea of tourists. 😀 Swipe right to see the powerful waterfalls. . . . . . . . . . 📍Althabasca Falls, Jasper, Canada . . . . #explorecanada #travelalberta #imagesofalberta #myjasper #theglobewanderer #world_shotz #earth_shotz #naturegeography #outside_project #visualambassadors #fantastic_earth #imagesofcanada #worldpackers #beautifuldestination #bestdiscovery #travelbloggers #igworldclub #intravelist #travelingpost #doyoutravel #ig_exquisite #wanderers #jaspernationalpark #parkscanada #naturegramy #venturebeyond #takemoreadventures #hello_worldpics #fantastic_earth #backpackersintheworld

It’s easy to see why Banff became Canada’s first national park 🏔

Another other worldly scene from canyons of the Tablelands in Newfoundland. Orange serpentine rocks of the mantle, steep rugged cliffs, and waterfalls made for one of the most interesting places I’ve had the chance to explore.

I recently saw a lot of posts about fake likes and fake followers on instagram. It just makes me smile ...I notice number of people follow me fluctuates and I occasionally notice very cliche /automated comments . No disrespect but all that outrage about the fake followers reminds me “fake news “ parodies . I guess if I was a true artist I would be offended or if I was trying to be “public figure” btw that term also makes 🤣 me roflmao, maybe it is a generational thing I don’t get . I guess I still believe you have to accomplish something of importance to be a public figure. At best, may be call yourself social-medialite or instacelebrity 🙄. I am just a photography enthusiast, more likely to be a garden figure than a public figure .... I absolutely have no benefit from likes or followers. I don’t really pay much attention. I noticed some awesome , talented photographers get only fraction of likes and followers than a bimbo photographs her rear end on regular basis . For clarification, freedom of expression, obviously those ladies put a lot of hard work into achieving their fitness and body shape goals . I just try to make a point, likes and followers are not reflection of the photography techniques . Anyhow , if I reach one person who is curious about Canadian Rockies and sees my images and puts on his/hers bucket list , I accomplished my purpose .

Fun Fact! Did you know Alberta has a suspension bridge?! It’s located about 9km from Drumheller and spans 117 meters across the Red Deer River. Now, it’s no Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver, but still a cool place to visit! ✧ I actually had a fear of heights growing up and while I’m still not a huge fan I was able to overcome it by walking along suspension bridges and rock wall climbing! ✧ Do you have any fears that you have conquered or are trying to conquer? ✧ 📷 @juliea_05 ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ ✧ #damestravel #narcitycanada #sharecangeo #oh_canada_ #parkscanada #cangeotravel #vibetravels #lovetheworld #solotravelingisfun #paradisecanada #openexposure #girlaroundtheworld #albertaadventuregirls #travelalberta #explorealberta #wakeupyyc #yyc #calgary #alberta_ca #capturecalgary #yycnow #canadasworld #canadavacations #paradisecanada #explorecanada #canadawonderful #canadiandestinations #lifeisoutdoors #bookingyeah #cnntravel

Dave Butler - Full Curl ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 . I absolutely loved this book, read it over about two days, then immediately picked up book two. . The story follows a Parks Canada warden, Jenny Willson, investigating a poaching case in Banff, Jasper, and Kootenay National Parks. . Animal protection and environmental conservation are extremely important to me, and I spend a significant amount of time in the backcountry of these parks, thus this story is very near to my heart. It doesn’t just hit close to home; it is about my home – and the home of all who love our national parks, enjoy being outdoors, experience the backcountry, and want to preserve this incredible environment. . . The pace of the story was excellent; it takes place over a year which is what you would reasonably expect in this type of investigation, but it also meant every point in the story was relevant and there was no fluff or lulls, keeping me engaged and turning pages. . Multiple points of view are offered, and the reader is able to get into the head of the protagonist AND the antagonist, which I don’t often see. Jenny is very relatable; I could have been reading about myself, I see so much of her in me (and vice versa). I despise trophy hunters, but even if the reader was not as environmentally aware, the passion is still evident. I loved the political commentary concerning the government organizations and bureaucracies as I found them to be relevant, but also either accurate or an opinion which I share with the author being familiar with the organizations in the story. . . Overall, the story is heavily about animal protection and it went exactly where I wanted it to, an exceptional story of justice. . Thank you @dundurnpress for this copy. I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again." - Lewis Carroll . . . . My first foray into #canmore and this scene caught my attention. It was picture postcard perfect . #firstsnow #banffnationalpark #itssnowing #picturetokeep_nature #postcardplaces #alberta #parkscanada #canadianrockies #explorecanada

Lighthouse Park (where’s the lighthouse emoji?!). Took quite a bit of off the beaten path hiking to find a perfect view point of the iconic lighthouse, but thankfully I managed to get there a few minutes before the sunset! . . #lighthouse #lighthousepark #ig_canada #explorecanada #explorebc #westvancouver #tourcanada #parkscanada #sunset #britishcolumbia #bc #beautifulbc #vancouver_official #vancity #vancitybuzz #vancityhype @dailyviewvancouver @dailyviewbc @explorecanada

Happy Place 36’’x36’’ Acrylic on Canvas. 🤩 "WOW" is the first word that comes to my mind when I'm surrounded by The Rockies’ stunning terrain. When I reach the summit, my legs are jello but my mind is blown away by the beauty and the force held by these majestic mountains. I could stare forever because this is where I belong, this is my happy place. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #artinthepark#glaciernationalpark#geocachemeoutside#hutsluts#glacialfacial#acryliconcanvas#colourfulart#turbobambi#bambiland#kawaiiart#naturecreatures#artsrevelstoke#parkscanada#canadianrockies#canadianartist

Normally, we just view Niagara Falls from the standard viewing deck, but this time we took a helicopter ride and were totally blown away. Look at how far that mist goes! Did you know that Niagara Falls is the most powerful waterfall in North America? At peak times, it drops more than six million cubic feet of water over the crest EVERY MINUTE! If ya wanna go, grab the Saver Card and get a discount on helicopter rides over Niagara Falls and over Toronto! www.mustdocanada.com/saver-card
