So in June I did a 3 week *mostly* #redmeat #carnivore experiment. I did it for a number of reasons, but mainly to see if it would help my #mentalhealth! I was SO HAPPY with the results.😁 It was hard at first. But I saw many amazing results. Better digestion. ✅ NO bloating ✅- it ALL went away!!! Yay! Better sustained energy throughout the day. ✅ Stable blood sugar. ✅ And a very definite sense of feeling "grounded" - like my feet were on solid ground and I could handle the challenges and stress of life again! ✅ And that went hand in hand with much reduced anxiety!!! ✅ It was great.😁👏🏻
So why did I stop?? Haha...
Well it had one other side effect...
Carnivore makes you fertile AF!!!! 😮😬😭🤰🤰🤰🤣🤣🤣

So with that crazy nausea ensued also a very strong aversion to meat 😭😭😭 LOL. 🙄😩 As soon as I think I can, I am going to go back to carnivore tho!! I already miss the way I felt!!! 💪🏻
I made sure to eat grassfed beef or red meat 3x a day. I would call it more of a "zero/ low plant anti-nutrients diet." Where I am attempting to heal my gut by avoiding all the lectins, phyates, zonulins, oxalates and more found in plants that can wreak havok on our health. Also I would call it a "nutrient density diet." Where I am determined to eat foods that HEAL, NOURISH, AND FEED my body from the inside out.
According to Dr. McBride the famous GAPS Dr., plants are "cleansing" foods, but animal foods are "healing" foods. My body needs all the HEALING right now....after 5 years of non-stop pregnancy and breastfeeding with no end in sight for at least the next 2 years...wow. I need all the HEALING I can get!! 😭👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🤗
I listened to a fascinating podcast yesterday by Wise Traditions #123 on Depression yesterday...Dr. Kelly Brogan made a very interesting point that resonated with me. She said that those who struggle with symptoms like depression, brain fog, chemical sensitity, autoimmune disease, and thyroid issues all are "parasympathetic dominant" and REALLY thrive only when they include red meat! 🙌🏻That' me baby!! 🙋🏻♀️
