To all my followers, friends and networking fellow bloggers, after a lot of thinking, I am temporarily shutting down my social media. Two months ago we found out my family is being relocated to Tampa with my husband’s company. We’ve really had to process this change as we love where we live and it hasn’t been an easy decision to move. Amazingly though, this move couldn’t be more timely. We have finally reached the end of our GAPS journey and are currently transitioning my son off of the protocol. It is so incredible and overwhelming to get to that point where we know my son is healed and ready to come off of GAPS. I never thought we would get here and seeing it all play out is almost hard to believe if I hadn’t witnessed it myself. We are so ready for a fresh start that isn’t so focused on food and health.
When I first started this blog, I whole-heartedly wanted to share our journey to offer hope to others struggling with similar issues with their kids. I wanted to show it was doable with young children and the end results would be the reward. And I can honestly say that we have achieved that, even if I haven’t documented it on social media as much as I thought I would. I wanted to leave those who have been following our journey with the end of the story, which was that we had success. We healed my son of his eczema flares, random hive outbreaks and gut issues. He is so much better off because of it!
I have written a short summary that is posted on my blog, link in bio. I hope you will read it to find one of the biggest pieces of the puzzle to my son’s health. It was what I could never figure out with just eliminating his food allergies. GAPS showed us the answer through all the set backs, changes and healing through the process. I don’t think I would have ever figured this out otherwise. In closing, I am just temporarily shutting things down until we get settled in Tampa and I have time to really figure out what I want to do so I can pursue it passionately and whole-heartedly.
I’ve enjoyed networking with so many other bloggers and connecting with people who follow us. Will be back soon… xoxo Jennifer
