@ with @ ・・・ CLEMENTINE UPDATE
After getting her tested and vaccinated, I had her get a full dental, where five teeth were extracted and a ton of hardened tartar was removed. After discharge and taking her to foster, I was told she wasn't walking and barely eating. Right back to the vet I went, and CLEMENTINE has been hospitalized for over a week because of a lack of mobility, a slight limp, and no appetite. I've been checking on her status every other day and finally she is eating enough. I had the vet put her in an exam room to see her mobility, and she is doing well. I will be picking her up tomorrow.
I also picked up PEPPINO a few days ago after hospitalizing him for nearly two weeks with either pneumonia or distemper. He is doing much better now.
I've had a slew of injured and sick cats recently, spending almost every day going to the vet to check in on them. Sadly, some of the finders are beyond ungrateful, not only not pitching in or barely pitching in financially, but either showing signs of apathy or even worse, adding more street cat issues on my plate. I am a 501c3 who has never received a grant; all bills have been paid through the generosity of individual donors. What makes the finders exempt from paying in to these bills and operating expenses, but guilting and manipulating me and a handful of other diligent rescuers in NYC is beyond me.
I want to thank all of you who donate to my rescue cats and kittens. If you would like to donate, consider a one time or monthly donation through Donorbox:
I also have updated my Amazon Wish List.
There are other cats I haven't been able to tell their story yet because of these latest injuries and illnesses, but I am constantly rescuing. These guys will all need forever homes eventually, so consider adopting as well. THANK YOU!
