So......how many times can the same movement pattern be disguised as a different exercise???!! . The images illustrate various types of hip extension exercises which target mainly the glutes 🎯 . As a PT, it is important to be able to look at an exercise and do the following: . 💥break the exercise down into its concentric/eccentric phases 💥identify which joint actions are taking place 💥understand which muscle is causing the concentric joint action . Once you can do this, you will be able to look at any exercise that you see online/in the gym, and then understand what muscles it hits, other exercises it is similar to, and who you could give that particular exercise to . Your biggest competition is the one in the mirror • • Are you truly happy with how you look? Do you feel like you could look better? • • Every single day that you wake up... you have to see your self and if you aren’t happy with the image that is looking right back at you... then what are you doing? • • Everyone has there excuses for why they look the way they do wether it’s a 9-5 job, then school, possibly a family to come back to, there tired and the list goes on. • • Listen, there are 24 hours in a day. I’m not here to bag on people because Ik there are people out there who have a harder life than I do but still... what are you doing with each of those hours in the day? • • I wake up, go to school 4 days a week for 6-8 hours a day, then train a few clients here and there, go to my other job, then get my training in. I don’t come home till 10 or later at night to then continue work... but still manage to get my lift and nutrition in. I sleep on average 4 hours because I chose to make time for my hectic schedule. I’m doing 17 units and have both chem and bio in the same semester which is stressful... my new job is stressful, but then I get happy and give hours out of my day to change my clients day, then lastly I finally make time for myself to train. In between that whole day I mange to eat my meals wether I leave a certain class a bit early, eat fast on break, eat on the go. • • Everyone has the same time on there hands. ✅ Today for lunch I switched things up and made some Baked Salmon, Rice, and Asparagus 🥠🥒. We all know salmon is a super protein loaded with so many benefits 💪! There’s a few obvious ones I want to highlight☝️... : : : ✅ The first one of course is it’s a good source of lean protein with 21 grams of protein per 4 ounces 🥠. Secondly, it’s very high in Omega-3 fatty acids, which can help with inflammation throughout the body such as bone and joint pains 😩... It also can potentially lower your risk for any cardiovascular problems. : : : ✅ Macros 🍴: 799 kcal, 50 g protein, 90 g carbs, 23 g fat

Aujourd’hui petite vidéo de mon échauffement avant ma séance jambe. Je vois beaucoup de personnes qui négligent cette partie du training et je voulais montrer un petit exemple de ce que je fais moi.( dans une ambiance disco en plus ) En tout, je consacre 10 minutes pour travailler ma mobilité ( mon gros point faible 🤷🏻‍♂️ ) et 10 minutes pour m’échauffer correctement. Je vous conseille de faire pareil pour vous évitez des bêtes blessures. Cette partie du training me permet aussi de me concentrer pour ma séance donc c’est tout bénéf ! Bonne soirée à tous ! 💪🔥

Aujourd’hui j’ai testé le challenge burpees qui consiste à réaliser 100 burpees le plus vite possible. C’est la première fois que j’essaye et je l’ai fait en 6min12. Je sais que je peux mieux faire donc je le referai dans quelques mois avec un binôme pour me booster ! C’est un des challenge les plus dur que j’ai fait, j’étais explosé à la fin. Pour ceux qui ne savent pas ce que c’est que sortir de sa zone de confort, voilà à quoi ça ressemble 💪🔥 Sur ce, bonne journée et bon week-end à tous ! #timetoworkout
