Hello guys ... have a look at this 'face pull rope' modification. . Are there many differences between a pronated and supinated grip? 🤔 . Not really, both of them are perfect exercises to improve your posture and to strengthen your upper back muscles. However the supinated variant will create more space in the subacromial area, and those who are suffering from shoulder problems 🤕 will find this alternative more comfortable and less painful. . "Face pulls" work ridiculously well the rotator cuff muscles along with the rhomboids. The lateral rotation + horizontal abduction will fire these muscles which sometimes are overstreched in people who spend most of their time in a 'crunched' posture, particularly those working in desk based jobs. . . Add these to your workouts to enhance your posture, improve posterior cuff and upper back strength or as a warm-up. But remember ☝🤓 . ✅ Don't forget to keep your scapulas down⬇ and back when pulling to avoid shoulder shrugging (very common when performing this exercise). . ✅ Pull with your upper back and not with your low back (adopt a staggered stance and tight your core) . ✅ And ... why not ... just try with a half-kneeling position or use bands instead of pulleys... . Wieso die Vorstellung Krafttraining auch Cardio sei absoluter Schwachsinn ist Immer noch denken viele Athleten leichte Gewichte schnell zu bewegen sei das Gleiche wie Cardio. Schließlich geht ja auch beim Krafttraining der Pulsschlag hoch, was natürlich auch zu einem positiven Effekt für das Herz führen sollte. Häufig wird daher der Begriff "Cardio" gleichgesetzt mit einer mechanischen Reizsetzung, die zu einem erhöhten Blutdruck und Herzschlag führt. Doch nur weil das Herz stärker schlägt heißt es nicht, dass es auch einen positiven Einfluss auf das Organ hätte - weit gefehlt. Untersuchungen zeigen, dass bei Krafttraining genau das Gegenteil passiert. Das Herz wächst zwar, aber nach innen. Die Herzwand wird zwar dicker, aber sie verdickt in Richtung des Zentrums. Hierbei spricht man auch von einer konzentrischen Hypertrophie. Dabei sinkt der Durchmesser des Herzen, was langfristig zu einem erhöhten Blutdruck führt. Dadurch verliert es langfristig seine Dehnbarkeit. Die verstärkte Steifigkeit führt zu einer geringeren Kontraktionsfähigkeit des Herzen, was wiederum zu kardiovaskulären Problemen wie einer diastolischen Herzinsuffizienz führen kann. Krafttraining reduziert kurzfristig die Sauerstoffversorgung des Muskels (Oxygenierung). Die Kapillaren werden unterversorgt, was wiederum zu einem Anstieg des Blutdrucks führt, da das Herz dies zu kompensieren versucht - leider ohne Erfolg. So sind Blutdruckspitzen beim Krafttraining von bis zu 480/350 mmHg nicht ungewöhnlich. Kardiovaskuläres Training hat nichts mit Krafttraining zu tun. Es ergeben sich völlig unterschiedliche Effekte, die zu berücksichtigen sind.
