The "not so finished but I don't care anymore" version of 12/10.
I have a few heads brewing but haven't posted anything about them. Partly because I'm not finished with any, and partly because I'm a bit embarrassed with how my progress goes. For me personally, I can't find semblance at the start and have to carve myself into the likeness and the correct colors along the way. It's a quite gruesome process and it's very discouraging at the start, almost always. Because at the start it looks so ugly and weird and wrong. Most times I can work it through, and find what I'm looking for in the painting. Some takes longer than others.
Anyway, lately I've been feeling some kind of pressure about posting good art, which is new to me (lol) and I find it a good thing actually. Before, I've always been lazily posting whatever I've been painting or drawing and there's never really been a sense of reaching the full potential of the art I've done. Now I feel like I want to do better, evolve and kind of understand my paintings. And I guess that takes some time. Although, I do want to make some heads without the pressure but still with that extra thought behind the strokes and color mixes (which I'm awful at, my palette looks like a rainbow war zone). Also check out the @404taken I've heard that they're pretty cool
