I've gotten so many DMs about my pink Birkenstocks this week that I'm going to try to answer all your questions here. I ordered mine from J.Crew and they're only available in narrow widths, which is what I've always worn, so if you need a regular width, these are probably not the Birks for you. If you're shopping and wondering if a style is regular or narrow, look at the little illustration of a foot on the heel of the footbed: a coloured-in foot means narrow while an outline of a foot means regular. Like all leather Birks, these need to be broken in. Some people need to break in the stiff footbed but my issue is always the straps, which rub and cut my feet in the beginning. You can try wearing them around the house with your thickest socks, or you can stock up on Band-Aids. I've also discovered that Birks made from Birko-Flor, not leather, don't cut your feet at all and are comfy straight out of the box. In Canada, the best places to buy Birks are mybirkenstockshop.ca, Soft Moc, Walking on a Cloud, Get Outside and Nordstrom. Holt Renfrew just started carrying the Rick Owens x Birkenstock collab if you're in the market for some very hairy, very expensive Birks. I think that's the extent of my semi-useless Birkenstock knowledge but leave any other questions in the comments!
