Everything went too fast from the moment I decided to leave Singapore, to come back to Switzerland, and as I am preparing for my next adventure. What did I take away from this year in Singapore?
Connecting with my Chinese-Singaporean roots has been a great ! Thanks to my family, relatives, who have welcomed me back with such generosity. I am forever thanksful! They taught me the local ways. I’ll miss the food marathons, Nasi Lemak on weekends, Satey at popular Lau Pa Sat or Popiah get-together nights at home.
I am also grateful of having had the opportunity to work in Singapore - doing business with South East Asia markets or learning more about the digital scene there, for the trust and responsabilities I have been given.
Juggling between the blog, passion, and work has been (is) a challenge. Indeed, I have slowed down my blogging activities in 2017 to gain new experiences. It is frustrating. Nevertheless, I trust the skillsets I acquired will enable me to turn my ambitions and ideas into reality.
The people is by far my greatest highlight. I have met amazing, talented and beautiful people throughout this journey that I am proud to count as friends.
Hard to make this long list short. I can now shyly call Singapore, my second home.
