Today we are talking about traveling! According to The Guardian Airlines generated over 5.2 million tonnes of waste in 2016.
While we understand the need for accessibility and limiting excess items while traveling, there are ways to reduce your plastic intake while keeping your money in your wallet!
With price inflation at airports, drinks and food are extremely expensive. So bring your own! Its so easy to attach a reusable waterbottle or tumbler to your carryon! (Shown below) keep it empty till you get through security and go fill it up! Its that simple! Bring some light snacks with you in your carry on so you dont spend money on unnecessary and expensive plastic wrapped items!
Eco Traveling has become very important recently so search for items for your next trip that are reusable and save energy like solar powered chargers and collapsable reusable containers for your small items.
Mini Travel Toiletries account for a large number of plastic waste. Try using refillable mini bottles for you next trip instead!
Remember get creative and look for opportunities to reduce plastic!
