Besides Holland Rose plants, I also have this type of miniature rose plants, Moss Rose. They are commonly called Portulaca, these tough, yet pretty little plants, just require very little of moisture to thrive and bloom. They grow well in our climatic weather condition.
Recently due to the sunny and warm weather plus occasional showers, these plants have started budding and blooming with little roses and taking the lead is the pink colour roses though I have other colours like red, orange, yellow and white that have yet to flower. But I trust I don't have to wait too long to see them in full bloom!
Using my self-made compost and fertilizers (including the use of Epsom salts), the plants are growing well with many new leaves, branches and flower buds all over.
