This is what life looks like today after choosing to show up 18.5mo ago a 6wk postpartum Mama to my fourth baby! That Mom on the left had moved 4 weeks earlier to live with her inlaws while house hunting. Moving two weeks postpartum not recommended. I had every freaking excuse. Every road block you can imagine. I had it thrown my way. I chose to stop letting all of that be excuses, and just start taking small steps each day to be the best Mom.. to feel good in my own skin. To be STRONG. It hasn’t been easy, people. Life keeps happening. I have gone from 4:30am alarms, to 11pm workouts, to mid day, to mid morning, and all between just to make it work. I have successfully completed 9 workout programs in that time, 3 being one week ones. I am currently in the process of knocking out a program that I believe has already given me my biggest mental shift. I did this all from home, dancing around kids when I have to. I joined a gym in January. I wanted something new. Well... that new became me with my home programs streaming from a gym. 🤣😂 I can’t stay away from them. I am thankful I can do them anywhere, but I cancelled my membership today. As a busy Mama to four babes, this is just what works for me!
This chick on the right was admiring major leg gains today. 😏 I cried.. not gonna lie. I know other moms can understand... we collect the inner thigh fat. Well... I have done all the squats from here to the moon, jumped ropes, lunges, you name it, I have done it. These legs are hard work. These legs are strong. I worked so hard, and will continue to do so. I want to feel like this each day. I want to be proud of what I see! You should too! If you are ever looking for a place to start, don’t hesitate to ask me!! To all you Moms like me who are busy, have little time, and are just constantly on the go from the time your feet hit the ground in the AM. I have got you. I get it. YOU MATTER. YOU ARE WORTHY.
