#physiqueupdate ! I’ve always wanted to say that. It hasn’t been easy but focusing on bettering my nutrition has been paying off in body composition and energy levels. I hate using the word diet since it usually means you’ll get off of it at some point and you don’t generally enjoy it but nutrition has more meaning to it in terms of what you’re putting in your body for health purposes and longevity. Biggest change I’ve made was just cutting out the shit I know I shouldn’t be eating and eating more of the shit I know I should be eating. Habits and how to break them⬇️ ⠀⠀ We all have habits every single one of us and we may not even realise we have them. This isn’t to say they are bad habits we can have a mixture of good and bad. ⠀⠀ Let’s say your habit is that your work supplies free treats for its employees such as cakes, biscuits and doughnuts😱🤤 ⠀⠀ And you can’t help yourself but have a 3-4 biscuits with your tea or coffee when you get to the office, then a cake or such to see you through until lunch time and then towards the end of the day everyone is unwinding so you all have a tea/coffee with a doughnut accompanied by some social chat. ⠀⠀ Now what we don’t realise is that over time these become habits and we do these things every day at work because it’s just become part of what we do, we might not even want these snacks as we aren’t hungry but we eat them because we always have and it’s part of the norm just like a coffee in the morning. ⠀⠀ Now let’s say you want to get into shape and you hire a Personal Trainer what a lot of them will do is take the ‘hardcore’ cold turkey approach and say you need to cut all of them out and replace them with vegetables or fruit so don’t eat them biscuits in the morning have an apple and don’t eat that cake or doughnut have some veg instead. Whilst they mean well this doesn’t work! ⠀⠀ It may work at first for a month or so but then your body goes into withdrawal mode and you start to crave these foods more than ever until you eventually crack and eat as many as you can find at once. ⠀⠀ Now the approach I would take is completely different. ⠀⠀ I would say instead of having 3-4 biscuits with your tea/coffee I would say have 2. ⠀⠀ Instead of having that whole slice of cake before lunch only have half of it. ⠀⠀ Instead of the doughnut covered in all chocolate, sprinkles, caramel toppings etc, opt for the simple ringed doughnut which will have a lower calorie count. ⠀⠀ These changes aren’t drastic for your client to follow and they’re still having the little luxuries they are used to. Over time this gets easier and easier to slowly remove them from the diet 80% of the time to be replaced with healthier options but still giving them the 20% that they can have

The push-press is an exercise performed in an explosive manner, and because it targets the legs, chest, arms, shoulders and lower back, it'll ultimately help transfer greater strength and stability in almost any exercise you perform. First time hitting 125 with a very decent pause but I feel like there was downward movement during my grind.. What do u guys think? Did my deload workout and felt like it was too short of a bench session so I took this time to work on tweaking my set up. I’m happy with it. I see some improvements.
