Made this video a while ago and finally found just the right words to put along with it.
All it takes is 5 minutes. As a part of my corporate social responsibility class, we are planning a 6K Walkathon October 29th here on campus.
Each day children in villages around the world walk on average 6 kilometers for unclean drinking water. This water and the bacterial illnesses it brings, kills more people than HIV/AIDS, malaria, and TB combined.
Teaming up with Procter and Gamble's Children's Safe Drinking Water initiative, the Haslam College of Business, MITSOM College in Pune, India, and Novexis Healthcare in Mumbai, we pledge a goal of cleaning 1.5 million liters of water for families in developing countries. You can help and all it takes is 5 minutes of your time. Register to walk in solidarity with us the day of the event for only $10 (Link in bio). Donate $8 and a child will have clean drinking water for a year. Follow and share our Facebook to raise awareness across communities. All it takes is 5 minutes to change a person's life, to empower women, to secure a family's future. And that's the #PowerofClean @proctergamble @haslamut @haslamheadlines
