33 weeks 🤰🏼 and I am seriously lacking motivation! Yesterday’s #bbglegs #workout was a physical and mental struggle. I did it, mainly because I scrolled through Instagram and was inspired by all of you lot, like I always am! But it did mean that by the time I got to my #pregnancypilates class in the evening I was done for! Went to bed at 20.30 🤪😴 and thankfully have woken up today with a bit more get up and go 💪🏼 ready to smash a quick 15 minute #HIIT 🔥 Working out through pregnancy is tough. But I know that by keeping going as long as I can I’m putting myself in the best possible condition for labour and recovery and that is what keeps me going! Certain things on your #healthylifestylejourney may feel extra hard in the moment but are helping shape you by giving you the tools to choose how you REACT. Something about #beingpregnant makes shopping for clothes that fit and feel comfortable REALLY HARD for me right now!!! Who can relate? • I'm so grateful my body is growing our sweet baby but the in between stage of not having a belly at the beginning and suddenly what feels like overnight getting bigger and not fitting in my clothes, is challenging me. As I tried on maternity pant after maternity pant today, I could have felt discouraged (and definitely did for a few minutes) that I was having to pull sizes that I've never worn before in my life. I could have allowed that minor why cant my body just be super fit again instantly right this second allow me to feel bad for the way my body is changing. • When I find myself spiraling into those rare negative self talk moments.. I take a few minutes to think about what I'm grateful for! Tonight I'm grateful to be working again at the restaurant where @chelceelynn and I became friends 8 years ago. I'm grateful I can afford to buy new maternity pants and non slip shoes. I'm so dang grateful our sweet baby is growing just how they should be even if my clothes don't fit how I want them to!
