First mayo. Then sugar free Cole slaw. I don't mind it without any sweeteners at all but the guys really prefer it with about two packs of stevia. (Per two pounds of cabbage) Plus homemade mayo, ACV, salt, pepper and tons of celery seed. It's awesome and rarely lasts. Even my 3 year old LOVES the "cold slaw."

Homemade Mayo. It can be so tempting to just buy some but ...with 5 people (4 of the male variety) it gets really expensive, FAST. Plus, if my boys are eating a lot of something, do I want it to he filled with GMO soy and canola? Do I want them ingesting nasty preservatives like EDTA? Not really. Over the years I've made A LOT of mayo, ranch, thousand island, onion dip etc. It gets really old when I make a huge batch of something then have to do it again an hour later. But I do. Also sometimes I don't because.. laziness. But mostly I do! Health is wealth. Even though we can't really afford to eat as clean as we used to, I take the time to make as much as possible and do the best I can. Do better, live better. 💕🥗

I ate too much cheese, I ate bacon 3 times a day, I didn't keep electrolyte balance in mind, and I didn't eat my veggies. - Learn from my mistakes so this keto lifestyle can be as easy as possible. - Eat plenty of healthy fats. I'm not talking about crisco, safflower oil, sunflower oil, or canola oil. Look at some of the mayos and salad dressings you are using. Those types of fats are not good for you. Look into @primalkitchenfoods for mayo or salad dressing, as they use avocado oil as a base. Grass fed butter, organic coconut oil, and extra virgin olive oil are also great sources of healthy fats. And don't forget steak 😉 - Track your macros. It's tough to make sure you are keeping carbs low enough to be in ketosis or make adjustments to your diet when you aren't keeping track. Use an app like myfitnesspal. It's annoying at first, but it becomes a habit and almost a game once you do it for a while. - Eat your veggies, unless you're a carnivore. I don't eat a ton, but green cruciferous veggies are full of vitamins and nutrients that can help with ketosis. - Skip the hotdogs and other processed junk. Eat grass fed/ organic meats. Eat veggies. Eat delicious foods that came from the earth. Someone, TAKE ME TO THE BEACH! 😖😖 — It gets its creaminess from banana and coconut milk, and sweetest from all the fruit - pineapple, mangos, and bananas! I even had some freeze dried pineapple and mangos that I chopped and mixed in for texture! It is TASTY! Liver as a supeefood Lesson from nature: observe wild predator animals! Or native people living in nature. When they catch the prey they eat the whole, not just the skeletal muscle, indeed many times they leave it and focus on offals. Why? The liver, brain, marrow, eyes, kidneys, skin, blood, fat layer are more micronutrient dense than muscle meat. Wild animals know this wisdom instictively, modern people forgot, they choose skinny, processed chicken breast and then looking for supplements to get some vitamins, micronutrients. Disconnected life makes disconnected, unnatural choices? Check any YouTube video about inuit family, who enjoy eating the seal raw and bloody, starting with offals! ;) check micronutrient data of various food sources! The data is there if u are courious and dont follow blindly a diet dogma, observe nature and connect the dots! I eat whole seafood, eggs every day or offals 1-3times a week. Its also a good strategy to cut raw liver into small cubes, put in the freezer and have a piece every day as a multivitamin. Now I know the dishes end up a similar colour and even look, but really happy tonight... firstly because a few handfuls of veggies, a bit of chicken thigh, some stock and seasoning... and net result was two serves of a very yummy dish. Secondly, tried to track the exact composition of today’s food and impressed with results. Just under target calories, and carbs a lot lower down the scale than would normally be. The thing is, while I have had to make an effort to avoid sugary treats and bread, I’ve actually enjoyed eating, not had any noticeable cravings, and have felt satiated. We will see if the novelty wears off but tomorrow’s shopping trip will involve more meat, more veg and no bread... #nmmfg #makelifeamazing #primal #fuel
