Liver as a supeefood
Lesson from nature: observe wild predator animals! Or native people living in nature. When they catch the prey they eat the whole, not just the skeletal muscle, indeed many times they leave it and focus on offals. Why? The liver, brain, marrow, eyes, kidneys, skin, blood, fat layer are more micronutrient dense than muscle meat. Wild animals know this wisdom instictively, modern people forgot, they choose skinny, processed chicken breast and then looking for supplements to get some vitamins, micronutrients. Disconnected life makes disconnected, unnatural choices?
Check any YouTube video about inuit family, who enjoy eating the seal raw and bloody, starting with offals! ;) check micronutrient data of various food sources! The data is there if u are courious and dont follow blindly a diet dogma, observe nature and connect the dots!
I eat whole seafood, eggs every day or offals 1-3times a week. Its also a good strategy to cut raw liver into small cubes, put in the freezer and have a piece every day as a multivitamin. On the pictures my dinner from yesterday: beef liver, fatty pork meat, mushrooms, fried on pork fat, few olives&mustard for decoration.. Super tasty&healthy 😋
Disgusting or just natural?
